Our Intervention Areas

Safe Water and Sanitation

In this Core Program, GWU focuses on Water treatment, Source of water, Source protection and Supply interventions, Water Quality Analysis, Education and Community training on water treatment technologies, handling and chain management.

Climate Change

In this Core Program, GWU focuses on Environmental protection, afforestation, waste management and Education.Climate change is a key challenge with regard to sustainable development and a global concern (SDG 13: Climate Action).

Livelihood and Economic Empowerment

In this Core Program GWU focuses on Interventions geared toward economic empowerment of beneficiaries and core program sustainability such as VSLAs, IGAs and Social enterprises.

Complementary Interventions

GWU engages in community needs assessment to address inter-related needs that affect the community including; Response to emergencies and disaster such as outbreak of pandemics.
